Kiley Nicholson

M.A Resident in Counseling

Kiley's Story

Kiley Nicholson is a Resident in Counseling and received her Masters of Arts from Liberty University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August 2024. Kiley has been with Bridge to Balance since August 2023 through her Practicum and Internship as she worked under the supervision of Kristi Gibney, LPC. Kiley also graduated with her undergraduate degree in psychology with a focus in counseling from Liberty University in December 2021. In her undergraduate program, Kiley was an intern with Spiritual Care Support Ministries and enjoyed providing support to those experiencing loss and grief from a faith-based approach.

Kiley has a passion for helping those who have presenting concerns in mental health including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, body image, attention issues, and trauma. Kiley has previous experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician with children and adolescents who are found to be on the autism spectrum. Kiley has enjoyed walking alongside her clients through their journey in counseling. Kiley is passionate about her relationship with God and hopes that she will be able to bring that passion to those she works with.

One of Kiley’s most favorite memories was when she experienced bringing in the New Year of 2020 Passion Conferences. Kiley loved being surrounded with 60,000 other young adults being able to worship God with songs of praise and by listening to some of the best Christian speakers in this generation. In her free time, Kiley enjoys watching Friends, hanging out with her fur babies, Mishka and Luna, and spending time with family and friends. Kiley is ready to take on this walk toward healing with her clients and hopes she can bring light to anyone who enters her door.
